Overview
The Roofing and Solar Reform Alliance (RSRA) was founded to challenge corrupt practices in the roofing and solar sectors. As a mission-driven organization, they needed a digital home that could handle high-level storytelling, rigorous member vetting, and eventually, the full weight of their marketing operations.
The Project: This was a multi-phase engagement that began with a ground-up WordPress build and evolved into a complete platform migration, consolidating their entire lead generation ecosystem under one roof.
Objectives / Problem
The RSRA mission is rooted in a powerful story of industry reform, which required a digital home that felt more like a manifesto than a standard corporate site.
- The Rented Infrastructure: The client’s initial marketing was hosted on ClickFunnels. While effective for simple lead capture, it lacked the professional institution feel needed to grow a national alliance.
- Data Ownership: The founder wanted to own and control the lead flow and member data entirely, rather than being beholden to the technical limits and subscription tiers of a funnel builder.
- The Need for Exclusive Tools: As the alliance grew, they needed a way to provide tangible value to members, such as a private directory and geographic mapping tool, which required custom logic.

Web Development
- Authoritative Ground-Up Build: We designed and developed the original RSRA headquarters on WordPress to establish their mission as the industry’s ethical standard.
- Narrative-Driven Design: We translated the founder’s personal mission into a high-impact, long-form letter layout. This allows the audience to understand the gravity of the industry’s issues before reaching the membership application.
- Proprietary Member Map: We built a custom Google Maps integration directly into the WordPress environment. This map is gated behind a member-only login, allowing alliance partners to visualize their national network and connect with peers securely.
- Scalable Membership Intake: We engineered a custom multi-step application flow to handle the vetting process for new firms, ensuring a professional and organized experience for prospective members.
Platform Migration
- Consolidating ClickFunnels to WordPress: Well after the initial site launch, we executed a strategic migration to move the organization’s active marketing funnels into their WordPress ecosystem.
- Data Ownership & Control: By migrating away from ClickFunnels, we gave the client total ownership of their lead data and removed the recurring costs and technical limitations of a rented platform.
- Unified Lead Journey: We rebuilt their marketing funnels within WordPress, allowing for a seamless transition between their educational content and their high-conversion sales paths.
- Custom Tracking Logic: With the migration, the client gained the ability to implement more granular tracking and custom behaviors for how leads flow through their internal systems.
